Musical Theater

The Huntington Center for Performing Arts offers students the opportunity to build their acting, music, dance and musical theater skills. In addition to our theater arts classes, students enroll in voice lessons and participate in performances as well as our summer camps.

Theater Arts, Ages 7 & 8

Get ready to shine on stage! In this fun and interactive class, young actors will learn all about the world of theater and musical theater. They'll work together as a team, learn fun movement exercises, sing catchy songs, and explore exciting characters. By the end of the class, they'll be ready to perform in a mini revue and show off their newfound skills!

Theater Arts, Ages 9-12

Take your acting skills to the next level! This class is perfect for students who want to learn more about theater and musical theater. They'll delve deeper into team-work, concentration, and movement, as well as explore voice and play analysis. They'll also learn how to bring characters to life through scene work and monologues. The class will culminate in a mini revue where students can showcase their hard work and talent.

Theater Arts, Ages 13+

Are you ready to take the stage by storm? This class is designed for teens who are serious about pursuing performance in theater or musical theater. They'll learn advanced techniques in acting, singing, and dancing, as well as explore the business side of the industry. They'll also have the opportunity to work on audition techniques and audition for Huntington Center productions. The class will conclude with a mini revue where students can showcase their skills
